VoltRunner EV is relaunching with a simpler idea than before: scheduled mobile charging. You book an arrival window, track your Runner live, and come back to a charged car.
What's changed
We've narrowed the service to the thing we can do well and price fairly. That means no roadside rescue. Every charge is booked ahead, which lets us plan routes where one Runner charges several cars in the same apartment complex or office park. Less driving between stops is what keeps a charge affordable.
Where we're starting
We're launching in Los Angeles County. We'll pick the first 10 to 20 ZIP codes by waitlist demand, starting with the densest apartment areas, because that's where drivers are least likely to have a charger at home.

The plans
Three memberships, all with live Runner tracking:
- Stride: 2 charges a month with a 2-hour arrival window
- Tempo: 4 charges a month with a 1-hour window
- Marathon: 8 charges a month with a 30-minute window and a standing weekly slot

Fleets and properties
Fleets can start with a 30-day pilot through Relay, and apartment properties can offer charging to residents through Building Pass, with no construction.
