Charging should come to the car.
Millions of EV drivers can't plug in where they live. They rent, park on the street or share a garage, and their week has room for errands, not 45-minute stops at a fast charger. We're building VoltRunner EV for them.
What we're building
VoltRunner EV is scheduled mobile charging. Members book a window, track their Runner live, and come back to a charged car. Fleets get the same service at the depot, and properties can offer it to residents as an amenity.
We're launching first in Los Angeles County. VoltRunner EV was founded in 2025 by Najee Walker, who leads product and software, and is building the operations and fleet teams now.
How we work
Density before growth
Energy is under a fifth of what a mobile charge costs; the rest is people and van time. So we grow building by building and route by route, not pin by pin across a map.
Our people are our service
Runners are the people members meet. They're trained, vetted and paid to do the job properly, every time.
Privacy by default
We collect what we need to charge your car and nothing more. We never sell or share it, and live location data is deleted after 30 days.
